All you have to do is a little digging in whatever spot of the backyard you choose, lay down and put together the little rubber tracks, and landscape around the area, once finished you can add those decorative touches that make this project uniquely yours, and you've built your own little car track.

We all know that there are lots of genius kids' DIYs to keep you busy this summer, but in my opinion, this has to be one of the most creative.

Summer is right around the corner, and that means it's time to start planning all of those fun outdoor family projects that you'll be wanting to work on!

There are a few incredible DIY sites out there, like Goods Home Design, which featured an amazing idea for a kids' project: backyard race car tracks!

These engaging car tracks will have your kids clamoring to go outside to play- which benefits their physical as well as mental health.

It doesn't matter what size your backyard is, this project is perfect for any size space.

The process to construct this project is also very reasonable. According to Goods Home Design, all that's involved is a little bit of digging, assembly of the tiny tracks, and then landscaping the area.

The most enjoyable part of putting together a toy race track by hand is adding all of the beautiful little finishing touches at the end.

Some of the tracks you see here even have colorful little cars of various sizes, road markings, and even tiny traffic cones!

A few of the designs even come complete with small sandpits once installed, which allows the kids to jump right on in there with their toys!
